Hippo cuts 120 roles amounting to 20% of workforce with up to $2.7mn charge

Homeowners’ focused insurtech Hippo has undertaken a second round of layoffs, impacting 120 roles or about 20 percent of its workforce, a move it said would result in a charge of as much as $2.7mn in severance and benefits costs.
